A
new fully integrated vacuum lifter and hoist which features a multiple pad head
attachment for coil handling that permits easy mounting over mandrels, and
eliminates grabs, hooks, and expanding chucks, has been introduced by ANVER
Corporation of Hudson, Massachusetts.
The ANVER VM Series
Vacuum Lifting System is a fully integrated lifter with an electric chain hoist, variable
lifting speeds, constant vacuum attach and an interchangeable head attachment system for
handling a variety of objects. Featuring a multiple pad vacuum head, it can pick up coils
from their top surface without telescoping to simplify loading onto mandrels, and will not
cause the marking or damage which can result from mechanical holding devices.
Ideal for
repetitive loading operations, the ANVER VM Series Vacuum Lifting System is non-weight
sensitive and can be equipped with multiple vacuum cups or cups with concentric chambers
for handling coils of various diameters. Vacuum stations with lifting power up to 8.5 HP
and 24.8" (63 cm) Hg can be provided and standard 275-, 550-, or 1100 lb
(125-, 250-, 499 kg) hoist capacities are
offered.
