A new electric powered
vacuum generator with a single curved foam pad attachment which comes in sizes
for handling pipes from 4" up to 30" O.D. is being introduced by ANVER
Corporation o Hudson, Massachusetts.
The ANVER Model VPE Pipe
Vacuum Lifter features a curved vacuum attachment with foam pads and adjustable
guides for handling pipe from the top surface. Allowing one operator to pick up
a long pipe from a stack without grabs or slings, this lifter's foam vacuum pad
is made from closed-cell foam with an outside skin and serrated edge that seals
tightly against rough surfaces.
Suitable for handling
hot-rolled metal pipe, and various pipe made of ferrous or non-ferrous
materials, the ANVER Model VPE Pipe Vacuum Lifter includes an internal check
valve to maintain a safe vacuum level in the event of a power failure. Standard
features include a front control panel with easily accessible gauges, lights and
power switches and an ergonomic handlebar that holds the control pendant.
