ANVER’s BAE1 Series Vac-Pack Vacuum Generator contains many of the same features as the standard VPE1- Series. Designed for use with a wide assortment of vacuum pad attachments and lifter assemblies. Includes a rechargeable, heavy duty 12 volt DC 75 amp hour battery, making it suitable for handling non-porous loads. It is commonly used for special applications where AC power is not readily available.

Features:

  • VacGuard Vacuum Control System
    This revolutionary solid-state Vacuum Control System combines all the required vacuum generator controls in a rugged, compact polycarbonate enclosure. The VacGuard controls all vacuum pump functions, safety lights and a standard VLS-03E audible vacuum leakage warning system.

  • Front Control Panel and Gauges
    All gauges, lights and power switches are mounted on the front panel. The two vacuum gauges on the face of the panel display the level of vacuum in the manifold and in the reservoir.

  • Control Pendant with Safety Interlock System
    The control pendant is supplied with 10 ft coiled cord and provides rapid attach/release functions at the operator’s fingertips.

  • Indicator Lights
    • Amber light indicates “Power On” for vacuum generator.
    • Green light indicates “Safe to Lift” vacuum level.
    • Red light indicates “Unsafe to Lift” vacuum level.
    • lluminated battery charge level gauge.
    • Only available with P/N: GC-CHARGE-10 battery charger. Amber light indicates “Charger On.”

  • VLS-03E Audible Vacuum Leakage Warning System (Standard)
    Integrated electronically controlled vacuum leakage sensor monitors vacuum level and will sound an alarm if a slow vacuum leak is present when the vacuum level drops to a pre-determined set point.

  • Vacuum Retention
    The system includes an internal check valve to stop loss of vacuum in the event of a power failure (non-porous loads). A 627 cu. in. vacuum reservoir assists in maintaining a safe vacuum level during a power failure (non-porous loads).

  • Ergonomic Front Handlebar [BAE1-FA, BAE1-HA and BAE1-XA Only]
    Easy to grasp, large loop handlebar enables the operator to easily and safely maneuver the attached load without touching the load itself. Handlebar can be adjusted for smaller size loads.

Maintenance:

  • Bottom Hinge Front Cover and Rear Hinged-Top Back Panel The front cover folds open for easy access to all components.
  • Air Filter Oversized air filter provided inside of front cover features a screw-on, clear filter bowl for easy cleaning.
  • Removable Battery Case Cover Standard battery case with strap and cover provides easy access to the battery which is mounted on a rugged mounting bracket(s) bolted directly to the vac-pack.

Pump Specifications:

  • The 3.2 CFM diaphragm vacuum pump is driven by a 1/4 hp 12 volt DC motor and generates 24” Hg (at sea level) of vacuum. The VacGuard Vacuum Control System maintains a safe vacuum level by cycling the vacuum pump/motor on or off as required to extend the vacuum pump life and the battery charge.
  • Operating Temperature: 50°F to 104°F (10°C to 40°C)

Battery Specifications:

  • 75 amp hour, deep cycle sealed battery can provide 8 hour shift operation in many applications.

Frame Configuration:

Standard lifting/generator frames construction with heavy duty lifting bale and bolt-on beam adapter:

  • BAE1-RA: For remote mounting (without bolt-on beam adapter and adjustable front handlebar). Includes 8” x 6” mounting pattern for 3/8-16 UNC hardware.
  • BAE1-FA: For 3” x 3” beam with 9” hardware centers rated up to 2200 lbs (998 kg)
  • BAE1-HA: For 6” x 3” beam with 12” hardware centers rated up to 4600 lbs (2078 kg)
  • BAE1-XA: For 7” x 5” beam with 12” hardware centers rated up to 4600 lbs (2078 kg)

Options:

  • Recommended Battery Charger (GC-CHARGE-10) Integrated 10 hw battery charger is an advanced battery charger designed specifically for today’s high performance deep-cycle lead-acid batteries. It provides microprocessor controlled three- step charging. The Twist-lock receptacles, both the male and female are supplied, prevent accidental disconnection from the 110V AC power source. The charger is interlocked to prevent Vac- Pack from being used during charging. A “charger on” indicator light located on front cover of Vac-Pack will illuminate when battery is being charged.
  • Other Heavy Duty Deep Cycle Sealed Rechargeable Battery (AMG-12V-100) 100 amp hour batteries are available to increase operation duration or for heavy duty applications.
