Automated CNC machines are technically
the next level up from our hoist suspended manually operated vacuum lifters.
Automated vacuum transfer of sheet and plate is very cost effective for repetitive
loading. Most fabricators or manufacturers feeding expensive cutting machinery
can justify the cost.
There is no need to worry about
existing equipment and material flow routes. Our "bridge-the-saddle", automated
vacuum transfer system was designed to make installation within existing
conditions easy and economical. And now with our units, you can locate the
transfer arm so it does not interfere with machine setup or other equipment.
After proper analysis of the
application, we can create a specific system from existing designs to provide
optimum configuration and performance parameters. This method avoids 'overkill'
assuring the best return on investment.
Typical applications include loading
and unloading of sheet and plate to laser, plasma, and burning tables, turret
punch presses, and shears.

provides stable mounting for vacuum cup and frame end-effectors.
Rectangular steel supports with
angle brackets at the corners provide a rigid structure to withstand maximum
acceleration with minimum deflection.
Horizontal carriage plate provides
a convenient enclosed mounting area for pneumatic valves, sensors, and
terminal strips.
Over-travel switches and
energy-absorbing end stops are provided to prevent runaway damage.
Wherever possible, surfaces are
anodized, plated, painted or otherwise treated for maximum protection.
Special materials and bellows can be provided for more severe conditions.
